I just had dental surgery yesterday. I can’t remember seeing so much of blood. Ever. Out went my already traumatized root, which was crushed to smithereens with a plier. Funnily enough, my gums were numbed. How much? Well, my nose felt numb too. But I felt the pain. All of it. In went the fake tooth. Here I am guzzling painkillers. Want a tip? When a doctor or surgeon says there won’t be pain, they are usually lying. There is pain. Lots of it.
